The Residential Coordinator at Compassionate Care Of Des Moines is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the general health and well-being of our residents, supervising staff, and coordinating services for clients. This full-time position operates during regular business hours, from 9am to 5pm. Key Responsibilities: Resident Health and Well-Being: Ensure the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of all residents. Conduct regular check-ins and assessments to monitor residents' health. Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Coordinate medical appointments and follow-ups, ensuring residents receive necessary care and treatments. Staff Supervision: Oversee daily activities and responsibilities of residential staff. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of care. Conduct performance evaluations and address any staff-related issues promptly and professionally. Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care. Service Coordination: Collaborate with external service providers to coordinate additional support services for residents. Maintain open and effective communication with residents' families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Facilitate residents' participation in recreational and social activities, enhancing their quality of life. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' health, care plans, and services provided. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner. Manage the residential facility's budget and resources efficiently. Ensure the facility remains in compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Crisis Management: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or crises involving residents. Implement and follow established protocols to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
