As a House Manager at Compassionate Care Of Des Moines, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our household. This role requires a highly organized, responsible, and discreet individual with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Daily Operations Management Oversee and manage the daily operations of the household, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively from 9 AM to 5 PM. Coordinate and supervise household staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Develop and implement household schedules and routines to ensure a well-organized environment. Household Maintenance and Upkeep Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the home, managing cleaning schedules and arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all household equipment and facilities are in good working order. Financial Management Manage household budgets and expenses, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required. Coordinate with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing deliveries and services. Event Planning and Coordination Plan and coordinate household events, including dinners, parties, and family gatherings. Ensure all aspects of events are managed smoothly, from invitations and RSVPs to catering and entertainment. Personal Assistance Provide personal assistance to household members as needed, including running errands, managing appointments, and handling correspondence. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, respecting the privacy of household members. Household Inventory Management Monitor and manage household supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available. Keep detailed inventory records and manage reordering processes efficiently. Security and Safety Ensure the safety and security of the household, implementing and overseeing security protocols.
